Conditional Activities and Progress Tracking

Conditional activities enable teachers to restrict the availability of any activity according to certain conditions such as dates, grade obtained, or activity completion.

While the following video and moodle.org documentation tell you all you need to know to setup conditional activities and resources in your course please consider the following prior to using this feature.

As noted in moodle.org, "Conditional activities are a way for you to force your students to do things in a certain order. Is that really what you want? The answer will depend on your particular circumstances, but it is worth taking a moment to reflect upon the degree to which conditional activities are appropriate for your course."

You are encouraged to read more on this debate prior to using conditional activities in your course.
